Dump from my long weekend. ~ This isn’t even half of what we ate during our food marathon but it is definitely some of the bigger checkpoints. I love that Pittsburgh is just FULL OF FOOD. 😍

And with that, the 2024 season comes to an end. ❤️

Some milestones:
— Finally, officially, divorced and free of an entirely messed up situation that I never deserved 🥳
— Lost my (also toxic) job due to a “restructuring” which led me to my new gig where I’m finally valued & respected on all fronts ❤️❤️❤️
— Re-financed on my home (wow, two years blew by) and officially committed to at least another two years in PGH 😚
— Put myself out there in a big way which led me to making a new friend that has been my rock all year whether he realizes it or not 😂

Point is, the universe will force you to be so incredibly uncomfortable. It’ll also recognize when you can’t do something for yourself and pull the plug for you (begrudgingly, thanks). I still can’t say with my whole chest that I’m HAPPY but I’m definitely happiER. Here’s to 2025, I hope all your wishes come true. ❤️

My friend and I finally got to dine in at last night to celebrate my 32nd birthday ~ as well as a many months over due celebration of my divorce! 🥳 safe to say it has been such a whackadoodle year, so I’m really hoping this next one does me right. Cause I’ll be honest (since no one reads these), I feel like I deserve a lot better. I feel like I HAVE deserved a lot better for a long time, but I settled for what was in front of me whether that was work, relationships, friendships or myself. Eight years of pouring everything I have in me into others, I can’t say I regret it (I’ve had a servant heart since I was a kid lol) but I am a lil tired. I am trying to learn how to balance selfless with selfish, no idea where I’m gonna land. But I will look back on this night and think “WOW, my b***s looked GREAT.” 🤣

But for now, I will just relish this delicious meal. I have to say it was soo so worth the wait, the food was everything I imagined and more. You must go! ❤️
