Judge Pappas is already working for the people of the East End of Pittsburgh, PA in district court. Since elected in 2017, Mik has kept families in their homes by reducing eviction rates by nearly 40%, virtually eliminating reliance on cash bail, promoting safe and humane alternatives to incarceration for people suffering from mental health and substance abuse disorders, and helping to break the cycle of poverty by accepting community service as payment for court fees.

Everyday hundreds of judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and police officers enter Pittsburgh Municipal Court. But I can assure you that the most powerful creature to roam its hallowed halls is a mouse named Brownie.

Happy Lazy Day to all who celebrate… which includes only 1 person. Our 12 yo son invented this holiday a few years ago and has celebrated it every second Sunday in January ever since. He insists that he is not allowed to use his legs and demands that we respect his beliefs 🙄😂
