i'm making ex0core into a doom mod. i have to make all the art. i'm doing a complete replacement except i'll keep some wall textures etc. but i'm replacing all the weapons and enemies and i'm putting my ex0core dude's face as doom guy's face.

anyway, this simpsons mod at first i was like, this is made by a really deranged person. but then i was like, i need this and i would put money into an arcade machine to play this.

it's funny watching videos about doom wads for research and people don't understand why the wads were so bad in the 90s. the level editor back then was primitive, you had to use math to set the heights of ceilings and floors etc... it was more like programming. of course the maps were ugly. plus we were 12 years old. i started making descent levels with a level editor that required me to learn c/c++ and understand 3d geometry, all text based, and i was 11.
