Bears are everywhere. And as long as we keep cutting down their homes we will be dealing with them more and more. Keep a close eye on your pets.
Keep food and bird feeders inside.
And remember we are only a part of the food chain. We need to coexist with nature

Today I was scrolling through my Facebook memories, and I have been keeping this page up for 10 years!
It's kind of crazy to think of all the pets, houses, places I've been. All the hurdles we overcame with Mother nature, a Pandemic, and all the schedules clashing together.
I still don't know how I make everything work sometimes 🤣

As most of you know I am a caregiver for both my disabled parents. As their health issues have gotten more complex over the years, I've struggled with whether I need to call it quits on Petsitting and focus on their care.
The good news is after years of fighting the system that lost every shred of paperwork we sent them, my mom is finally approved for 30 hours of care a week. I have been providing care for her without pay since I was in highschool. My dad get 45 hours a week, now suddenly I have 75 hours of care.
The bad news is the timing for this to kick in couldn't be worse as I am jam packed with Petsitting jobs that have been scheduled a year in advance.
Like everything else life likes to throw at me, I will figure it out and try not to allow it to impact the level of care that I pride myself on being able to provide.
I really try to not leave and come back multiple times as it can make the animals anxious.
I try not to be gone for more than 5-6 hours if possible.
Unfortunately with these new hours I will have to restructure things a bit.
I may have to run out early in the am and late in the evening to clock in and out for my parents. I may have to be gone for a whole 8 hour shift to fit all the hours in.
I will be in touch with all my scheduled clients to make sure everything is still fine and work to accommodate everyone to my best ability.
Unfortunately for some of my long time clients, looking forward, it seems I will be looking to do more in the range of drop in visits, cat sitting, afternoon dog walks, and long weekend pet sitting jobs than week long pet sitting.
I wanted to give everyone as much heads up as I can.
Thank you for the last 10 years of support, even with change I hope there are many more years still to come

Peace and love yinz guys❤️
