...I won't accept every invitation. π«..I'm only going where God leads. πΆπΏββοΈ..prayer is a lifestyle, not a last resort. ππΏ
Covenant over everything.
It may look different from what everyone else is doing, but hey...that's the point. β¨οΈ
1 Peter 2:11-12
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

For those of us whose first instinct is to pick up the phone and scroll...let's counteract that.
The world won't stop spinning if we log off, and tap in to God's presence.
You won't miss a thing. Take time today to just BREATHE.
Updates are overrated...we don't need to know everything, about everybody, all the time.
Take as much time as you need to log off and heal.
In His infinite wisdom, God designed EVERY storm to pass. β€οΈ
Eventually, the rain will stop.
Inevitably, the sun will shine.
There is hope in knowing that not one storm has lasted forver. ππΏ

The "easiest" way may not always be God's way.
Case in point: "Why don't we just live together to save money? We don't have to get married."
Or this one: "I'll just stay quiet so I don't upset anyone."
And we can't forget how COVID made this one famous: "I don't really have to go to church...I pray every day."
Beloved, not everything that seems easy is God's will for your life. In fact, the easy way out will end up costing you wayyyy much more down the line.
Our society craves fast and easy. But God craves our obedience, no matter what.
Your lifestyle choices should reflect your covenant relationship with God. It may not always be an easy road, but hey...the cross wasn't easy for Jesus, either.
May we always choose covenant over convenience ππΏ

We don't have to ask and beg God when He gave us authority in the spirit πͺπΏ
God actually rebuked Moses for not using his authority:
Exodus 14:15
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.
Ya'll, we can't be spiritual simps π€·πΏββοΈ We have actual POWER. Use your authority, believe in your heart, and step out in faith β¨οΈ
This August, commit to using your authority wisely and watch God work π«
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

"If the devil can't stop you, he'll push you." π―
Felix Nmecha said it best during his podcast interview with Ballers In God founder John Bostock. (Link to the full interview is in my stories. It has SO many gems about faith, joy, and spiritual warfare!)
This is why reactions are overrated. Discernment is where it's at. Discernment will have you asking "Am I being pushed by satan, or pulled by God?"
Pay attention to what God placed in your spirit. It's not a hunch or a gut feeling...it's God stirring up your discernment to sense what's really going on.
Discernment is the key to knowing whether someone is just having a bad day (i.e. Peter) or if they have a bad spirit (i.e. Judas).
I pray that we no longer react to the devil's push, and instead, lean in to God's gentle nudge.
Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Your feelings don't run you.
And if they do, they shouldn't.
Place everything you feel in the hands of God, and He will show you what to do with them ππΏ
