Relatable God

We don't glorify God by giving up. As believers, it's not in our DNA to fold. 🤷🏿‍♀️

(Folding is for laundry, not for me. Shondo! 🏃🏿‍♀️)

You CAN do what God put on your heart to do.

Matta fact, you CAN and you WILL.

Now....Go. Be. GREAT. 💫

If your body is a temple,
if your life is not your own,
and if Jesus is your Lord....

Then holiness should be a lifestyle, not a one time deal.

Let *HOLINESS* govern the way you speak, think and act.

God commands us to be holy (Leviticus 19:2), and we can do ALL things through Christ Who strengthens us.
(Philippians 4:13).

This means that we CAN live a lifestyle of holiness. It is possible, and God will help show us the way. ✝️

So it's not a question of whether we CAN live holy...it comes down to...do we WANT to live holy?

My prayer is that we recognize that it is possible to live holy in today's world, AND that we desire to live holy 🙏🏿

It's wise. It's effective. And most importantly, it's biblical. 🙌🏿

Knowing how to engage the ones you are speaking to is a skill that can be developed, regardless of your personality type. (So introverts, be encouraged! You can do this!) Simply reading the room can unlock a wealth of information that can transform how you connect to others and how they relate to you. 🫂

How God relates to us in business is VERY detail-specific.

God gives clear instructions for the assignments He sends your way.

When Moses lead the people.
When Noah built the ark.
When Ruth met Boaz.

The instructions came, and then things began to move.

God has no problem laying it out for us, but sometimes, we are not still enough to listen to what He is saying.

As we continue being about Our Father's Business, I'll share how something as simple as reading the room can be a Kingdom business strategy.

When you truly surrender, you won't keep asking God for status updates. Selah. 😮‍💨

I found myself doing this for YEARS, and didn't even realize that I was trying to micromanage God concerning His promises.

Conviction hit like a ton of bricks when I noticed how much I despised, loathed, DETESTED when people tried to micromanage me. Being micromanaged made me feel incapable, small, insufficient. But little did I know, I was treating God the exact 👏🏿 same 👏🏿 way 👏🏿.

I would justify my prayers with Scripture and telling myself that "I'm believing God for this to happen", all the while growing more and more frustrated when the promise never came.

If you're in a place where you are praying about the same thing over and over again, ask God to search your heart. We don't always know what is really going on inside, but God does.

Be humble enough to admit that maybe, just maybe, God is not holding up your blessing, but He is trying to reveal something about you to YOU.
