Flutters on the eyes.

Being a bit of a birder, I was amazed when I first learned about this relationship and sometimes territorial ritual that is carried out between bald eagles. The bald eagle as you know is symbolic to the US and when I saw the geometry of the spiral, I got to work as I wanted to see it repeated. I feel this pattern has even more relevance with the status of our nation as of late. I feel it’s even more important to look to nature for answers these days and taking even better care of it when doing so.

Probably the closest I’ll ever come to making a stained glass window, but you never really know what’s going to happen in this crazy life.
Happy to see this installed as it was one of the more technical installs I’ve done as I’ve never done anything quite as circular as this up till now. Thanks Harriet for believing I could pull this off and making your vision come to life.
