Troop 834

Today Troop 834 spent the day together working on some rank requirements. We had a speaker come in to talk about what it is to be a citizen and our rights and obligations as a citizen. After that we cooked lunch and the boys made us grilled cheese and wedding soup in a Dutch oven. And I have to say it was delicious! 😋
After lunch we had a scout work on a requirement with presentation. Then we ended our night with an urban hike to the ice cream shop in Carnegie to get ice cream at our favorite shop called Scoops! This was a bonding experience for them all like none other.

This weekend one of our scouts and scouters went as visitors to the National Jamboree. Had an amazing time and wished they were there as a participant. Looking forward to the next one and has a goal to attend the next one!!

AOL Weekend AOL's are invited to Camp with Troop 834 and work on requirements and activities.

Troop 834 just came home from Camp Freedom after being there for a week. There were 3 scouts that attended and between the 3 they earned a total of 16 merit badges. They all had a great time making new friends, going out of their comfort zones trying new things and having a blast.
