Mercy Associates are women and men who discern a call from God to actively engage in a commitment to mercy within a formal relationship with the Sisters of Mercy. Mercy Associates respond to the Gospel invitation of Jesus to minister to those who are poor, sick and uneducated through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Before she takes the stage at Commencement this Saturday, it’s worth taking a moment to consider the kind of impact Sister Sheila has made. From founding the Carlow Roundtable to building initiatives that connect campus and community, her work has shaped how Carlow lives its mission every day.

Associate Darcy Osby will be walking on The Coldest Night of the Year to raise funds for Pittsburgh Mercy’s Bethlehem Haven shelter which provides a women’s shelter as well as a medical respite center for individuals to recover after being discharged from the hospital.
