Meet the Trio! Last up we have Will Rachko , our euphonium player!

My name is Will Rachko, I play euphonium in the Willmanback trio! I live in Pittsburgh, and I'm from Havertown, Pennsylvania. Recently I graduated from Duquesne University with my master’s, and previously attended West Chester University. My favorite musical memories come from playing the euphonium in different settings, and teaching music. I’m thankful for the awesome teachers, friends, and opportunities music has brought me. Especially– my group members who agreed with my crazy idea to form our trio. Personally I enjoy hiking, cooking, and road trips.

Meet the Trio! Next up is our piano player, Kate Denman !

My name is Kate Denman and I’m from Monessen, PA. I play the piano in the trio and I run our social media pages. I started playing piano when I was in 2nd grade because I remember bothering my mom all the time when I was younger to teach me something on the piano because we had one in the middle of our living room. After that, she thought it would be a good idea to get me piano lessons. I studied with Mr. Joseph Walker until I was a senior in high school, and with Mr. Kenneth Burky throughout my time at Duquesne University. I started my love of accompanying in sixth grade when my chorus teacher asked me if I could play for one of our songs, and I have been doing it ever since. I have accompanied for many church services, chorus and wind ensemble concerts, and juries (both instrumental and vocal), and I am going to go to Carnegie Mellon University in the fall for my masters in Collaborative Piano (instrumental focus). I also like to write my own songs which are out on all streaming platforms!

Meet the Trio! First up we have our tuba player, Ethan Stainback!!

My name is Ethan Stainback and I’m from Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. I play the tuba in the trio and also act as the main arranger of the group. I began playing the tuba when I was 12 years old because I wanted to play the sousaphone like my dad. After playing through middle and high school, I decided to pursue a career in music and after having a lesson with Dr. James Gourlay, decided to attend Duquesne University. I will graduate in December of 2023. Along with music, I am a big basketball fan and I have a strong interest in learning new languages.

Hey everyone! We’re the Willmanback Trio! We are a Euphonium, Tuba, and Piano group based in Pittsburgh, PA.

We are not your typical trio, we play any/all kinds of music! Music ranging from artists like Harry Styles and Taylor Swift to the Beatles and Led Zeppelin to classics like Verdi and Mozart.
