Nobody wants to be forgotten.
We all want to leave a mark on this world. My advise is don’t focus what you leave behind, focus on what lies ahead.
So if you’re concerned about how you can leave the greatest impact on this world, think about how you can point others to Christ. That leaves an eternal mark, there is no greater legacy.

We were made for so much more, far greater than the things we’re living for. Don’t settle for things in this world, that’s so short-sighted. If you are ready for something greater - life with eternal purpose; then seek God and He will tie your heart to the way, the truth and the life.
We can no longer be stagnant, seeker friendly, and politically correct. That’s not the church Christ built.
Christmas is the day to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the greatest gift from God - the reason for the season. It is also a time to reflect on the year and to prepare our heart for what is to come. Jesus is the gift of what is to come, a gift of joy and everlasting life to all who receive this gift. If you think you’re not worthy to receive a gift like that, you’re right. But by God’s grace, you are. Merry Christmas to all!

We should love because God first loved us. All of us. 1 John 4:19

God created nations and borders.
“From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” Acts 17:26 NIV
Borders are in place for a reason. I imagine if this world had no boundaries, we would just be wanders. God’s intention was for each nation to govern its people and to provide safety and protection to its people. This verse is sometimes used to justify the “wall”, but we tend to gloss over the second part of that verse that says “God did this (made nations and borders) so that they would seek Him”. We have forgotten that our country was built as a nation under God. Without God, we are susceptible to the enemy. Without borders, we are susceptible to the enemy. The fact is we need both. One day there will be no need for borders, and I look forward to that, but that is not God’s plan yet. We need to secure our borders AND we need to turn back to God. That does not mean that we will not welcome people seeking asylum, but we need to strongly regulate the borders for legal immigration.

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6
God is patient and always present, and like the prodigal son, if we turn back he will embrace us because He is a loving Father. Although this verse is encouraging, it also has a sense of urgency.

Where are we going? I remember asking that when my Mom or Dad said "Get in the car!". We ask that same question any time we see a change coming. Whether it is affecting your family, your job, or the leadership of this country - it affects your day, your plans, your future. Our country is in such turmoil over where we may be heading. Jesus did not teach us to love only those who share our views. He did not agree with the views of the religious elites either, but he did not bash them publicly. He spoke the truth in love.

Don’t Always Make it Personal When I first invited Christ into my heart, I asked Him to be my personal Lord and Savior. I was seeking a personal relationship with God – I knew that is what God wants with each one of His c…
