Field sessions for our middle school Ecosystem Investigators program are currently taking place!
During this session, students investigate the forest ecosystem and look at interactions between trees, mushrooms, insects, and other organisms. These students from Propel Schools Montour found a Katydid during their exploration!
Katydids are relatives of crickets and grasshoppers. They are great at camouflaging since their bodies look like leaves, complete with veining patterns.
