Earlier this spring, a wild Mallard chose the National Aviary's Rose Garden as the perfect place to nest and lay her eggs. We watched from a respectful distance as she diligently incubated them, and we're delighted to say that upon hatching, she (with a little help from her National Aviary friends) led her ducklings off on their next adventure at Lake Elizabeth in Allegheny Commons Park! 💙
