Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit

It's time to start planning the 29th Annual Racial Justice Summit -- would you like to join us as the paid Coordinator? You'll work with a volunteer planning committee to create a one-day conference in February!

We had a wonderful day for our Volunteer Cookout -- it was an outdoor gathering miracle! 😀 It was not super hot & humid. There wasn't terrible wildfire smoke. It didn't even drizzle!

The Volunteer Cookout & Potluck is this Saturday!

The Summit is a one-day conference every February. Join us for the Volunteer Cookout & Potluck this Saturday, July 25th to find out how you can be part of it either the day of, or in planning it.

We'll have hamburgers, hotdogs, and veggie options on the grill, with buns and condiments. If you can bring a side for the potluck, that's great!

Join us to learn more about the Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit! Volunteer Cookout & Potluck on Saturday, July 25th, from noon - 2:00PM, at the Bartlett Shelter in Schenley Park.

Find out how you can help plan the next Summit, or volunteer on the day-of the event next February. There are volunteer roles ranging from an hour or two at the event, up through joining the planning committee and shaping the whole event.

We'll have meat & veggie options on the grill, and buns and condiments. If you can bring a side, that's great. You don't have to sign up in advance, but if you do, we can be sure to have plenty of food. ;-)

If it's not feasible for you to bring a side for the potluck, that's fine -- you're still very welcome. If you're not ready to commit to a side, you can also sign up without listing one ahead of time. :-)

Parker is a big help with Summit social media! She'd like you to come to the Summit Volunteer Cookout & Potluck on July 25th, especially if you'd volunteer to help with the Summit's social media so she can have HER lap back.

There are lots of ways to be involved in the Summit, from volunteering for a few hours at the event next February, to joining the planning committee to shape the whole event.
