Under the Same Stars featuring Reliable Child is out now on all streaming services.
This is where we obligatorily say a few words about the song and the meaning. This song is soft, easy to listen to, but also melancholy in how at the very end, the two protagonists are still separated. Here's a few more sentences of how I interpret the song:
"I had a year to ponder a deeper meaning in the way the song connects with humanity. In the current state of the world, it's almost as if we're all competing for attention, and perhaps that attention is really to replace true compassion and community with the global lack of it. All of our hurrying around day to day makes it nearly impossible to see the truth: that we're all connected in our shared humanity. At the end of the day, we all just do what we can to survive and look up at the same sky."

A new song ✨ Under the Same Stars ✨ will be set free this coming Friday, 10/18, featuring Reliable Child. In celebration of that, here is a little behind-the-scenes clip from when we worked on it in the studio back in April 2023 with Daniel Blake Production.
