Deep in the South Side hills of Pittsburgh lies this beautiful old Mercedes 240D. Sitting abandoned in an old parking garage, under a church makes you wonder what is this cool automobile doing here?
Although it’s not the rarest car ever made, it’s still begs the question, will this car ever see the road again?
With seemingly low miles, its body in near perfect condition, and original paint still in good shape, maybe one day it will be on the road again. Cruising down the streets of Pittsburgh as it was intended.
But who knows? Maybe it’s in its final resting place once and for all.

THE SPEEEEED PALACE 🏁

Opening in 1938 Port Royal Speedway, nicknamed “The Speed Palace” is a half mile dirt track located in Juniata County Pennsylvania. Here is just a glimpse into the thrilling action that goes on at The Speed Palace.

Pittsburgh Grand Prix Pt. 2
•
With 10 days of racing, car shows, parades, and lots of other Motorsport events, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix turns 40 this year. Founded in 1983 this tradition showcases some of the greatest vintage automobile racing.
