And our string quartet with drummer, CutTime Simfonica® will end the short series, playing up-tempo, jazz-infused works, as well as traditional works with a bit of beat and drama.

We enjoyed another collaboration with Society to Preserve the Millvale Murals of Maxo Vanka presenting the CutTIme Simfonica® string quartet ahead of their annual Holiday Lights Tour featuring the active church's fine Christmas display.

Audience came away commenting on how Director Rick Robinson's facial expressions enhanced the music. He replied, "This is what orchestra musicians look for in the conductor's face, gestures and body language... to guide the focus of the music/players and their emotional shapes."

Learn about CutTime Simfonica® and how Mr. CutTime began experimenting in the Detroit Symphony Orchestra before moving to Pittsburgh in 2022.

Next Tuesday's (12/30) short, pre-tour concert 6:15pm at the Millvale Murals of Maxo Vanka will feature veteran Simfoni-cats Maureen Conlon Gutierrez, "Gio" Andrew Giordano, and Stephen Weiss joining "Mr. CutTime" Rick Robinson.

The program is a mix of seven slow classics, playing on the long acoustic delay and themes in Croatian painter Maxo Vanka's incredible Millvale Murals. Think candle light concert with fewer candles, as the Christmas display is truly wonderful.
