We are back at this Tuesday and we are bringing Mole! Mole is a mildly spicy cocoa based sauce that we are serving with either plantains or chicken, your choice.
Here are some of the ingredients that go into this magical creation.

Okay, so here is the deal. Poco a Poco will be at the Lawrenceville Farmers Market every Tuesday for the rest of the year starting November 16. The menu will change, but we are starting with Pozole (pork, shrimp, or vegetarian) and Taco Kits (steak or shrimp). The food is packaged for takeaway and to enjoy at home on your own schedule.
We have opened the online menu for pre-orders of pozole. Pick up is at the market. We will also have a limited number of taco kits available for purchase at the market.

Come see us, tell your friends, and please let us know what kind of food you would like us to sell in the future.

Día de los Mu***os has passed and we hope that you had a moment to reflect on loved ones who are no longer with us. It’s a time to honor family, and for Poco, that means remembering lessons learned. Jackie grew up in her grandmother’s kitchen, absorbing what would be the foundation of her own cooking. Her grandmother often made pozole on special occasions like Día de los Mu***os.
That’s why we are selling pozole–a warm guajillo broth soup with hominy and pork, topped with cabbage, radish, onion, cilantro, lime, and dried oregano–at our first Lawrenceville Farmer’s Market Tuesday. In honor of María de Jesús Ruelas Navarro. Mama Chuy.
Catch us at Lawrenceville Farmer’s Market starting Tuesday, November 16. And be on the lookout for pre-orders which will start this week!
