At Dollar Bank, we know how to have fun and give back at the very same time. With the weather heating up for summer, our employees are volunteering through the community, representing the Bank at powerful local events, and celebrating with one another for every small (and big) success so far this year. Here’s a little about each:
🫂 We Got Your 6 (our ERN for veterans, military family members and their allies) joined Disabled American Veterans' Bridge to Hope: Homeless Stand Down to support homeless veterans and other community members facing difficult circumstances.
🎳 Our ERN Diversity in Action (DIA) celebrated the year so far at Coop De Ville with great food, duckpin bowling, pool and exceptional company.
🦋 Pittsburgh Action Against R**e (PAAR) hosted their annual Teal Ball. We were humbled to receive the Volunteer Appreciation Award, recognizing the generosity, teamwork and heart of our work and its impact on survivors and families everyday.
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful partners. Working with you is a gift. And to our employees, another enormous thank you for showing the community what we’re all about.

Cool day in the office with Austin Hedges, the catcher for the Cleveland Guardians! Our North Olmsted Office hosted Austin as he signed autographs and met fans of all ages.
We've got more visits coming your way too! The next signing is June 12 at the Southland Office, followed by the last event of the year on July 31 at our Independence location. And at each signing event, you'll have chance to win a first pitch experience. ⚾😱😍

✨ Did you make it to the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival this past weekend? Don't worry! The iconic event organized by The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is going on for one more weekend in downtown Pittsburgh at the all new Arts Landing.
Beautiful art in a beautiful community. And don't miss the exceptional musical performances as well!

🏆 Dollar Bank was honored with the Elaine Effort Community Champion Award at the Robert L. Vann Media Awards for the Pittsburgh Black Media Federation - PBMF! 💙
The dinner, “A Night of Excellence,” marked a special occasion as PBMF moved into its 53rd year of advocating for fair representation of the African American community in the news, working to increase the presence of journalists of color in newsrooms and other media organizations, and recognizing and promoting excellence and integrity in news coverage.
Dollar Bank received the award for long-standing partnerships with community-based organizations, support for economic development initiatives and active participation in efforts that uplift all voices and stories. Thank you to our Community Development team for attending and receiving this wonderful award, and thank you to PBMF for the honor!
Being such an integral part of our Dollar Bank team, it takes a real communicator and a self-starter to best service customers and thrive as a Regional Banker.

What is Dollar Bank up to in the community?
💼 At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia's Rosemont Club, our employees met with students at and talked about careers in banking.
🍐 We visited the The Chapel Pantry to help people shop the pantry, welcome guests, bag groceries and restock the shelves.
🦼 We were honored to present the F.R.E.E. Foundation of Virginia with a check, helping them continue to break down the barriers of accessibility and mobility for so many.
🫡 And members of the Lynnhaven Office in Virginia met with DAV (Disabled American Veterans) as part of national Military Monday, thanking them for their service and introducing them to our Military Banking program.
