As Digestive Disease Week approaches, DDW introduced DDW Legends, a new series celebrating the ideas, mentorship, and leadership that have helped define DDW over the years.

FORTE is quickly racing toward 50% enrollment, accruing over 4000 participants by the beginning of February 2026. As the study team continues to welcome new sites, explore activating and increasing accrual to NRG-CC005. Activation materials can be found on CTSU, under NRG-CC005.

Thanks to the efforts of the national clinical research teams supporting enrollment to NRG-CC005, the FORTE team sprinted to accrue 3800 participants, 40% of total enrollment! The trial also set a new record of 143 participants in October 2025.

The NRG Oncology FORTE team is excited to host the FORTE Coordinator Session with support from the FORTE Coordinator Committee. This FORTE Webinar presented by Dr. Jeffrey Dueker, Protocol Co-Chair, reviewed FORTE eligibility criteria. In this presentation, Dr. Dueker clarified that polyp size is estimated in the colonoscopy report, while pathology determines the type (histology) of the polyp.
