🩶 Go Grey in May 🩶
May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month, and we’re inviting everyone to join us in “Going Grey” to show support for the brave warriors, survivors, and families affected by brain tumors.
Costumes For Courage was founded because of a little girl named Lilli. During her battle with a brain tumor, Lilli wore a different princess dress for each chemo appointment — bringing courage, joy, and a touch of magic to each appointment. Lilli is thriving today and her tumor continues to remain stable.
This May, we ask you to Go Grey in May.
đź’ś How will you Go Grey in May?
Tag us in your grey outfits, costumes, or share your own story of courage.

Today is National Superhero Day. Real superheroes don’t always wear capes.
Sometimes they’re in hospital beds.
Sometimes they’re standing beside a sibling who needs them.
Sometimes they’re facing more than most adults ever will.
At Costumes for Courage, we’re honored to send costumes to these incredible kids—because every child deserves to feel strong and a little bit super.

Please share our post and help us get the word out ❤️
We’re so close to reaching a goal that means the world to us 💛
Through your support, we’ve been able to send costumes and moments of joy to children facing difficult medical challenges in 49 states.
Now, we’re hoping to reach children in Hawaii—the final state on our journey to all 50.
We know there are incredible, strong kids in Hawaii who deserve the same magic, confidence, and joy. We would love to connect with families, hospitals, or organizations who support children with complex medical needs so we can reach them too.
If you have a connection or know someone who could help, please reach out. And even if you don’t, sharing this post could help us get there.
Let’s come together and make sure no child—no matter where they live—misses out on this experience 💫

“Under the sea”… or in her living room! 🧜‍♀️✨
Mia is absolutely glowing in the Ariel costume we sent. Watching kids light up when they open something special just for them is the best part of what we do.
Drop a ❤️ below to send her some love! 🧜‍♀️

🎗️💛April is Childhood Cancer Sibling Awareness Month 🎗️💛
We talk a lot about the bravery of kids fighting cancer—and we should. But today, we’re recognizing their siblings too. The ones who wait, worry, help, and love so big through it all. They need courage too.
That’s why Costumes for Courage includes siblings of childhood cancer patients—they also deserve moments of joy, imagination, and just getting to be a kid.
If you know a sibling walking this road, give them a little extra love today đź’›

Today is International Childhood Cancer Day, and we are holding every child and family in our hearts. 🎗️
At Costumes for Courage, our mission is simple: to provide costumes to children facing difficult medical challenges to help give them the courage to face them. Through these small but meaningful moments, we bring joy, comfort, and a reminder that they are brave, strong, and never alone.
We honor the warriors still fighting.
We celebrate the survivors.
We remember the beautiful children who now live on in our hearts.
Thank you for standing with these incredible kids and families and for being part of the courage they carry every day. đź’›
