Time is a thief, 10 years ago today we learned of the shocking passing of singer, songwriter, guitarist, actor, dancer, producer and innovator Prince at only 57 years old. 💜🎶🎤🎹 🎸

From all of his fantastic albums, the wild success of “Purple Rain” not only in the theaters but in record stores, his outstanding guitar work at the George Harrison tribute at the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. I loved how he quietly stood in the shadows of Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Steve Winwood and Dhani Harrison until it was his time for his solo during “Whie My Guitar Gently Weeps” ...blowing everyone’s mind, his 2007 Super Bowl performance, headlining Coachella in 2008, Prince truly was a unicorn of talent. I am blessed that I got to see him live in concert with his masterclass in how you entertain a crowd. I miss him.

Me: I Wanna Be Your Lover, Diamond and Pearls, Darling Nikki and just hearing the opening riffs of I Would Die 4U instantly reminds me of working at NRM and the fun times I had.
