After an incredibly busy couple months booked with classes today was a nice change of pace just shooting for fun with old and new friends alike

My son hit steel at 400 yards on his first try at it today. We were both elated. He just simply listens, and tries his best.

Dad may have had a big part in setting everything up for his success, but none the less, what a great time at this afternoon.

Plus I let him buy a coke, and I almost never let him drink that s**t

Great low light class last night. Lots of work utilizing night vision, active and passive aiming, as well as white light. We even had decent weather.

Most of my time is spent with people or groups that carry guns for their job. Some of these individuals have done so for a very long time, all over the world. I also get many people that are just getting into the practice of self defense, whose first experience ever shooting is at the class that they've committed to with me.

It's a very diverse crowd, but we're all trying to accomplish the same things. That said, an individuals anecdotal experience doesn't speak to their skill level. (Sorry, not sorry to whomever needs to read that.)

However, the difference maker, regardless of experience, is an open mind, a willingness to listen, and work.

Today I was joined by an armed professional who has significant experience with the military, but no formal pistol training. His ability to listen and desire to learn was admirable, and resulted in substantial progress in a short amount of time. Nothing makes my job more enjoyable.

Mr heater has absolutely been the MVP lately. Despite the weather there are still a lot of people wanting to get learning and working, so classes have been very, very consistent. Having a little warming station has been very helpful.

If you're wondering, it's always on low. Throws plenty of heat, and is surprisingly efficient.

All existing classes have been postponed and we'll start booking again in a couple weeks.

A mother / daughter pair for a private over the weekend. We had a really great time, and I'm really looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Tremendous time with Jared of who set up a custom class for us getting our night vision use dialed in. Much learning and understanding was accomplished, and we'll absolutely be seeing much more of them. Special thanks to for helping keep us in order.
