a half a rack of ribs smothered in sweet-smoky with a hint of tangy-molasses and a trace of heat BBQ sauce….mouthwatering tender meat pulling freely off the bone. when it first arrived I thought wow I’m going to need a to-go box though here I sit amidst pure carnage….a meat lovers paradise somewhere between dinner dessert and nirvana 🕉️

What a treasure!! Amel’s is timeless…and has been going strong since the 1950’s!!
Lamb kabobs, grape leaves, hummus, moussaka, crab stuffed mushrooms, giftfromthegods lemony-mint vinaigrette dressed mediterranean salad.…there was no room for dessert!! To our health 🥂

…so after an exquisite dinner of roasted carrots appetizer, homemade linguini carbonara, and a robust Tuscan blend 🍷 …found out about the now attached bakery/bar open-til-10pm (I should not know these things) and popped in for a piece of chocolate fudge cake…anyone who hands me a plate with a swath of chocolate icing is my new BFF 😋
