Baseball places unique demands on the body from repetitive throwing and swinging to sprinting, sliding, and quick changes of direction.

Physical therapy can help reduce injury risk by focusing on:
⚾ Improving shoulder and elbow mobility
⚾ Building strength and stability throughout the arm and core
⚾ Identifying movement patterns that may increase stress on joints
⚾ Enhancing balance, coordination, and overall athletic performance
⚾ Supporting recovery during busy seasons

Whether you're on the mound, behind the plate, or in the field, staying strong and moving well can help keep you in the game.

What position did you play—or what position does your athlete play? ⬇️

Today is Play Outside Day a great reminder that movement doesn't always have to happen in a gym or on a schedule.

Take a walk, toss a ball, ride a bike, explore a trail, play tag with the kids, or simply enjoy some fresh air. Spending time outside can help boost mood, reduce stress, and keep our bodies moving in ways that feel fun and natural.

No matter your age, finding time to play is good for both body and mind.

How are you getting outside today? ☀️🌳🚲

Did you know that some headaches can be linked to muscle tension, joint stiffness, posture, or neck dysfunction?

Physical therapy may help address underlying factors that contribute to certain types of headaches by focusing on:
✔️ Improving neck mobility
✔️ Reducing muscle tension
✔️ Addressing posture and movement habits
✔️ Strengthening supportive muscles
✔️ Teaching strategies to manage symptoms

Not all headaches have the same cause, which is why understanding what's contributing to your symptoms is an important first step.

If headaches are interfering with your daily life, it may be worth exploring whether musculoskeletal factors are playing a role.

Stroke Awareness Month

Every minute matters when it comes to stroke. Recognizing the signs quickly can save a life and improve recovery outcomes.

Remember FAST:
F – Face drooping
A – Arm weakness
S – Speech difficulty
T – Time to call 911

Stroke is a leading cause of long-term disability, but recovery is possible with the right care and support.

📣How Physical Therapy Helps After a Stroke

Recovering from a stroke is a journey and you don’t have to go through it alone.

Physical therapy plays a vital role in helping stroke survivors regain independence and improve quality of life. Here’s how:

✅Restore Movement – Rebuild strength and coordination in affected muscles
✅Improve Balance – Reduce fall risk and increase stability
✅Retrain the Brain & Body – Promote neuroplasticity to relearn everyday movements
✅Enhance Mobility – Safely return to walking and daily activities
✅Build Confidence – Gain the skills needed to live more independently

With the right support, progress is possible one step at a time.💙

Happy Mother’s Day 💐

To the moms who are always in motion. From early mornings to late nights, from caring for little ones to supporting grown kids. You do it all with strength, patience, and heart. The lifting, the chasing, the comforting, the constant showing up it matters, even when it goes unseen.

Today is about you. The caregivers, the multitaskers, the resilient moms who keep everything moving forward.

We hope you find a moment to slow down, breathe, and take care of yourself, too. You’ve earned it.

Wishing you a day filled with appreciation, ease, and a little extra rest 🤍
