Beautifully figured cherry coffee table with 2 1/2 thick top. The character in the grain makes this a very unique piece. Featuring walnut bowties and a black epoxy in the voids. The table is finished with Rubio Monocoat. This leaves a smooth, natural matte/satin finish. The legs are handmade from 2x2 USA made steel and are attached to the top with threaded inserts and furniture bolts. The legs feature a matte black finish and leg levers. This handcrafted piece is well made and very heavy. $450

The discoloration seen in these maple pieces is called ambrosia. Ambrosia is caused by the ambrosia beetle which carries a fungus called Xyleborus glabratus burrowing through the tree.
