We were honored to host our 6th Annual Juneteenth Poetry Jubilee this past Sunday, June 14. ❤️🖤💚

Guests explored a display of topical books and shared poems, songs, and reflections on resilience and renewal during a moving Juneteenth open mic celebration. Special thanks to our co-hosts: the Piscataway African American Seniors Club, the Piscataway Civil Rights Advisory Commission, and the NAACP Metuchen, Edison, and Piscataway Branch.

Piscataway Public Library is transitioning to summer hours at both the Kennedy and Westergard branches, starting Sunday, June 21. Sunday hours will resume on Sunday, September 13, after the summer.

Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Teens are invited to join us at Westergard Library on Wednesday, June 24 at 10am for Art Around the World: Pysanky. This is the ancient art of creating beautiful designs on eggs using hot beeswax. This workshop is strictly for ages 14-18 and requires a waiver to be signed in advance by a parent or guardian.

Enjoy a variety of summer-themed crafts at Summertime Craft-a-Palooza! Join us at 2pm on Wednesday, June 24 at Kennedy Library for button art, popsicle picture frames, tie dye, and more! While you're here, sign-up for summer reading on the Beanstack App! This program is for kids ages 5 to 12.
