Public Service Announcement: The New Deli will be closed Monday, May 26, for Memorial Day! Hope everyone can enjoy some time off, get caught up with loved ones (or maybe even just chores and yardwork). Meanwhile, I was reflecting on zealousness. Enthusiasm. Character defects… I’m sharing a picture of this month in the garden- there is a pond in there somewhere, but the plants have been taking off, blooming, spreading. Celebrating Thanksgiving with family today, folks, but we will be back Monday!

Thankful for so much- loved ones, health, God's beauty surrounding us. Enjoy the season! Celebrating with gratitude, this past year and all the bounty. Most precious- Jesus! And our relationships thriving. But also, good health, good food, good laughs (check out my crazy fridge for that).

We celebrated our son and his bride's marriage at a backyard garden reception this past month, and our sweet Rose (former deli employee) captured it all. We have some beautiful homegrown, heirloom cherry tomatoes from our organic gardening friend. Making the salads look especially awesome today. Get it while it lasts!

Potato Swiss Soup eclipsing all else! 😆 We are finally bringing back some of the menu items that got lost in the Covid Shuffle. Our Potato Swiss Soup says, “So good to be back!”

We are very humbled by the continued support of so many customers. Thank you! We'll soon be moving into our 40th year, in 2025 (haha, planning ahead). It was actually over 40 years ago that we began this culinary journey; serving the public healthy (and/or) tasty foods became our way of life. Tom originally delivered to 30+ health food stores in the Bay Area, and within those first three years (starting in 1982), we realized the need to find a more legitimate place than the converted kitchen we worked out of from our home. Hence "The New Deli"!
