2 more cats went to Contra Costa Animal Services this morning for spay/neuter. They are from a new site with very young cats. And of course a few other adults showed up so more then we thought. Slowly we are getting it done. TNR rocks! Thank you Jennifer for trapping them and Joseph Ratto for driving Lucinda to and from appts.

Today I was adopted by a nice couple who have a young female cat and 2 dogs. They know about slow introduction but anyways I love dogs. I have the feeling that the other kitty will be happy to see me. There is always someone home as the couple also live with a friend. I will miss my sister, but I make friends easily. I am told they already put me on their insurance. Glad for that. Wish me the best of the best.

Anyone has a nursing mom?

Here is Princess aka Persia, the mom of the Tortie family. She was over 3 weeks online without any applications. She is friendly, affectionate and is a total love bug. We are positive that she will be snatched at Cat Town. Currently in their foster care. Her life will be so much better than an outdoor chair outside a liquor store on Rheem St in San Pablo. Gorgeous Flame Point. I am partial to them.

The Tortie family will be moved to Cat Town next week. The gorgeous mama is already in foster care at CT since last Friday . Tom, Jerry, Monkey, Molly and Maggie here. We want to thank Esther to have taken the 6 kitties at her home for 11 weeks. Lots of work there. Esther has a gigantic heart and is selfless. We also want to thank Dilara who is often helping us so we do not get overwhelmed. Hard to do adoptions in Pinole amongst so many free kittens on Nextdoor. Thanks for following us!

Finally the Maine C**n Tabby showed back up to eat. (He’s to the far right). After his trip to CCAS for a hurt leg he was medically cleared and released back last week.I didn’t see him when I fed there for 6 days. I was starting to worry. I’m trying to build his trust back. I tell him 'Buddy I’m not going to hurt you!" The neighbor our friend Nash named him Mufasa.

These 3 were found near a very busy street in some grass with a tall wall behind them . They could not escape a dog and were positioned close to the street. They were far from being feral. My ex colleague Eva rushed home and brought back a box. She said there were 4, but 1 escaped and her and her husband looked for him for a long time. Since they did not hiss and were socialized, someone put them there. Today they went to Joybound People & Pets for vax and neuter . We had also a very big male to neuter. We are happy to see the public taking matters into their hands, we can’t do it alone . Thank you!

3 more cats went for spay/neuter today at Contra Costa Animal Services. We are always grateful for the appts. One is from a big apt complex Jennifer Lincoln has been working on. And the 2 others are sibilings from a new site we are working on. We will need 6 more appts to finish this site. TNR ROCKS!!

Coral is currently at OakVet Animal Specialty Hospital
With Dr Funes who has helped us on several occasions and has adopted a wonderful kitten from us.
- spayed at Contra Costa Animal Services in March in a big clinic.
- went to Berkeley Humane in April who said she had stomatitis.
Went to The Pet Advocate in May to remove all teeth unfortunately they remove only 7 and she went downhill after that.
Even though we had several vets who had confirmed stomatitis they did only 7. I will not go back to them as it is the 2nd time they did that. Went to El Sobrante Vet Hospital. Urine analysis
Went back To Berkeley Humane. Blood analysis . Now we just did an ultrasound that is ruling out FIP. Dr Funes prescribed gingipro so it could help the mega inflammation and infection in her mouth. She said the mouth was terrible. New medication where all teeth do not need to be removed . Pray for Coral ! She can eats soups 3 times a day. She has been in pain for a long time . Glad Jennifer Lincoln removed her from the street and we took over . More to come on that lovely pet.
