Happy 40th to my husband Brien! I’m so grateful for you! Today is going to be awesome! 🤍✨

I’ve been home for a couple of days now, getting back into my routine and recharging after my adventure in Los Angeles for this year’s Luxury Gala.

This is something my mom and I have attended together for several years now, and each time it brings its own kind of magic. There’s something so special about getting to share these experiences with her — stepping into that sparkle together, making memories, and reconnecting with friends in the industry.

And … it’s always nice to come home. There’s a kind of exhale that only happens when you step back into your own space, rhythm, and sanctuary.

Lately, I’ve been reading (so much more than I was this time last year), and it feels like such a gift! Honestly, I’m just really thrilled with how my days have been flowing. There’s a softness to them, an alignment I didn’t realize I was craving until I let myself lean into what truly lights me up.

Travel always brings an interesting lesson for me. Somehow, every time I leave, I convince myself I’ll have more time to work — that I’ll open my laptop, make progress, check things off the list. And so, of course, I pack it.

And yet… that’s rarely how it unfolds. Instead, things tend to move forward in ways I never expect. Conversations that open doors. Moments that shift perspective. Ideas that arrive when I’m not trying to force them. This year’s gala adventure was full of exactly that: surprises, magical meetings, laughter, and the unfolding of new projects beginning to take shape.

Another year is closing softly, quietly, like a storybook page turning under warm lantern light. And as I sit here reflecting on everything that unfolded, I feel both humbled and deeply proud.

This year stretched me, transformed me, held me, and taught me. It asked me to rise in new ways while also returning to pieces of myself I thought I had outgrown. More than anything, it reminded me why I tell stories in the first place: to create connection, to offer comfort, to leave a little light for someone else to find their way.
