…as I passed through the fog the other morning I paused. I stopped. This cemetery lays no one to rest that I know. But, I felt the need to say hello. I began to think what if I was the only one to visit this holiday? What if they are alone?

…”His memory will live on forever”, “At rest with God”, “Her laugh will be heard in our hearts forever”.

Then I realized they have plenty of company.

There have been many families affected by the last few rounds of storms, and my heart aches for them. But I cannot help but feel these last echoes from so very many old growth trees.
