As more children enjoy time outdoors, the Pilot Point Police Department would like to remind everyone about the importance of street safety.

Neighborhood streets are not safe places for children to operate go-karts, golf carts, mini bikes, or other recreational vehicles. These vehicles can be difficult for drivers to see and may lead to serious accidents.

Parents are encouraged to supervise children closely and ensure they play in safe areas away from traffic.

Motorists, please slow down, stay alert, and watch for children playing near roadways.

Working together, we can help keep our neighborhoods safe for everyone. ๐Ÿš“๐Ÿ’™
