Something special happened at the State Tournament today.

Hank David of Pilot Point High School aced Hole #2 with a hole-in-one during his second round. Moments like that don’t happen often… especially on a stage that big.

And he didn’t stop there. Hank finished 4th overall with a two-day score of 144, backing up last year’s incredible run when he shot a 145.

Two straight years finishing among the best in the state is no accident. That’s consistency, discipline, and clutch play.

Pilot Point has to be proud of this young man. Big-time accomplishment and a tournament to remember. 👏⛳️

If you would have told me two years ago in Wyoming I would be making back to back trips to Regionals with both girls and boys, and then State Golf, out of so many players, I would have laughed.
I am immensely proud of Hank, my senior who made the trips, and his 4th place finishes both years, bettering his score this year AND a hole in one. Crazy.
Although I am not the best golfer, I know how to coach. It has been a hard two seasons learning as much as I have and accomplishing what I have done as a coach and with our team.
It’s been an awesome trip.
I can’t wait for next season.
Congrats to Hank and the team on their accomplishments and thank you to the team, Jeff Christie, and all the parents for their help, with all of you believing in me and my vision.
It has been a privilege.
