Pilot Point Elementary Art Room

Dear Artist Friends and Families,

I am thrilled to announce my former art student, and my now Sweet Friend, Ms. Caroline Branning will be taking over my position in the art room beginning in August at Pilot Point Elementary. I was her art teacher Kindergarten-3rd Grade at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison. She recently received her Masters In Art History from UNT, and I have no doubt I am leaving my Bearcat Artists in great hands. I am moving to the Austin area next week to be closer to my adult children and looking forward to welcoming my first grandbaby in July.

It has truly been and honor and a privilege to work alongside your student. I look forward to seeing their love for the Visual Arts continue to develop.

This week’s artist Kehinde Wiley has been BY FAR my favorite artist to showcase! It’s been so fun to hear what the students are thinking this darling 2 year old must be thinking when she viewed his GORGEOUS Portrait of Michelle Obama for the 1st time. 🥰

I am looking for few volunteers to assist students with finding and wrapping their clay projects so they can travel home safely in one piece.
