Supporting local businesses is one of the reasons I am running for City Council. Having owned a downtown business for five years, I understand the challenges owners face and the vital importance of community support.

I want to ensure that the City of Tioga’s EDC and IDC are doing everything possible to assist our local businesses, families, and economy. I am deeply passionate about our community, and a thriving local economy is essential to funding critical needs like better streets, infrastructure, and drainage.

I am writing to share my background and vision as I seek your support for the upcoming election for Tioga City council 🗳.While some may only see me as a housekeeper, I am a lifelong entrepreneur, a dedicated community volunteer, and a leader committed to the future of Tioga.

Community Roots and Service
My family moved to Pilot Point in 2001 and has called Tioga home since 2011. My husband, a P.P. native, and I chose this area to raise our children in a small-town environment. My commitment to our community is reflected in my volunteer history, including:

- HOPE Food & Clothing Organization: Member since 2018.
- Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce: Board Member (2020–2022).
- Tioga Youth Sports Association & Ministry: Volunteer and leader (2016–2019).

Professional Experience
I have been an entrepreneur since the age of 11. Today, I manage three distinct businesses that have provided me with a diverse skill set:

- Event Coordination: Expert in budgeting, logistics, marketing, and negotiation.
- Commercial and Residential Cleaning: Built on a 20-year foundation of trust, honesty, and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Remodeling and Construction (V2R): Partnering with my husband to bring our clients' visions to reality.

My Vision for Tioga
If elected, my primary goal is to increase transparency and civic engagement. I want to ensure every citizen is informed and feels welcome at public meetings. I am also passionate about:

- Bringing more family events to our downtown area.
- Preserving Tioga’s rich heritage and history while welcoming new generations and diverse cultures.
- Encouraging small business growth to strengthen our local economy.
- Aligning our growth with the core values of God, family, and country.

Why I am Running
As a proud Mexican-American who is fluent in both English and Spanish, I bring a unique perspective to the table. I am a leader who is not afraid to ask difficult questions or stand my ground. I believe that being underestimated is a powerful advantage, and I am ready to work tirelessly for our community.

I look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
