We provide food for weekend meals to underprivileged children in our community. Haugh Ave., Picayune, MS 39466.
We serve the following elementary schools: Roseland Park, Westside, Southside Lower, Southside Upper, and Pearl River Central Elementary. To donate, cash or checks may be dropped off at First United Methodist Church, 423 N. Checks should be made payable to First United Methodist Church, with the memo marked “Bak Pak.” The church office is open Monday through Thursday.
The Bac-Pac Ministry would like to congratulate Cecilia Richards, Picayune Schools Social Worker, on her official retirement! She was one of the driving forces behind getting this program started!! Bac-Pac is very near to her heart ❤️! Best wishes and congratulations on her new job!

Today was our first day for bag distribution!! I saw some very excited faces bringing their bags home for the weekend!!

Now that school has resumed, you know what that means ? We plan to start distribution of the food bags on September 17th!! Please let us know if you would like to help us in any way! 💗
We have 7 weeks of school left!! You can make such a difference in the life of a child by donating food or money to this program!!!.

Our sweet bac-pac kids received a nice surprise Friday!! They all brought home a handmade stocking with goodies in it!! Merry Christmas to you all!!

Sending out thanks to our volunteers today! We packed over 450 bags! Next week our children will receive not only a bag of weekend food, they will also receive a handmade Christmas stocking filled with candy. The stockings were made and donated by the Loving Stitchers. Some of our volunteers today are members of Delta Kappa Gamma education sorority.
