Whacky 5.7 things! Trying the new .official PR-5.7 mag-less pistol out, I dig it! Very light, very thin, but also quite grippy, holds 20+1 rounds. It had a few failures to cycle for the first 50 rounds with polymer-tip ammo but now runs super after break-in. I think I like it more than my G48!

In light of the recent Air Force fatality and ban on P320s, I feel like I should once again ask people to just pay attention, do research, and make smart choices if they own a P320, even with a Safariland holster. Myself and other concerned and trustworthy social media types have been waving our hands about the growing number of worrisome incidents for months... Many others have said it’s fine, and you should take note of who landed on which side and who has integrity and your safety in mind vs their personal income. As a 2A community I feel we’ve got a lot of decent people trying to keep us safe but sometimes they aren’t the loudest voices or biggest channels, so you’ve got to look for them a little harder. Like most people, it was hard for me to believe at first that a modern pistol could just go off, so I dismissed such rumors initially. It’s even hard now to fully believe that something with so many safeties could just go off. But at some point you’ve got to wonder: can all of the incidents be user error? For me, a few months ago it became too many incidents and it wasn’t worth wondering if I was taking a risk when there are so many other options on the market. Think on it.

Been shooting the METE MC9 PRIME for a bit now, it’s got a lot of high end features out of the box for a compact, no upgrades needed! As always the trigger is awesome but it’s improved further with flat-faced 90° break, and this lil’ guy has an amazing new stipple pattern going on that is a dream to hold. Plus the compensated barrel and slide means the controllability is off the charts! There is a lot of extra barrel and slide work going on as well, Canik upping their game on this.
