The Tiger Den Summer Camp had visitors from the Phoenix Zoo today!
Amazing things are happening at Lowell with our 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant both this summer and after school during the school year.
Big news! Phoenix Elementary School District #1 is excited to announce the launch of our new Dual Language Immersion Preschool at Lowell Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year! Learning English and Spanish can now start as early as 3 years old. Spots are limited! Our cafeterias at Bethune, Capitol, Emerson, Herrera, Lowell, Magnet, Shaw, & Whittier will open and serve breakfast and lunch.

We celebrated the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Team with a special dinner alongside their families. It was an honor to present these outstanding student leaders with their certificates and celebrate the vital insights and voices they’ve brought to our district all year long. Thank you to our amazing students for your dedication, and to the families who came out to support them!
