Mid-mission update from Peru!

Our pediatric orthopedic surgical team is already changing lives in Cusco, providing specialized care for children with conditions such as club feet, hip dysplasia, scoliosis, broken bones, and other orthopedic challenges.

Early this month we gathered to celebrate the launch of Pa’Adelante, a new chapter dedicated to advancing our work here in Arizona and strengthening the communities we serve.

As our President & CEO, Jeri Royce, shared that evening, “Pa’Adelante means moving forward – juntos. Together. Porque cuando caminamos juntos, llegamos más lejos. When we walk together, we go farther.”

Maria cradled her newborn son, doing everything she could to care for him, but even basic essentials like diapers were hard to come by. As a first-time mother in rural Honduras, she faced the challenges of caring for a newborn with very limited resources and support.
