🚨 FACT or BS? 🚨
We put Ideal from Local Roots to the test with some common HVAC statements to see what’s actually true… and what’s complete BS. 😂

Mother Nature doesn't pull her punches! ⚡️
A recent lightning strike grounded directly onto this AC lineset, sending such a massive electrical surge that it blew a hole straight through the solid copper piping.
The Local Roots team quickly cut out the compromised copper, pressed in brand-new piping, and got the system back online and protected. 🛠️❄️
Freak damage like this is exactly why HVAC surge protection is a must. A dedicated surge protector acts as a shield, stopping massive spikes before they fry your control boards, destroy your compressor, or weld your plumbing.
Don't leave your most expensive home appliance exposed. DM or call Local Roots today to secure your equipment before the next storm hits! 🛡️⛈️
Stocked up and ready for fall! 🍂💪
The Local Roots warehouse is filling up with Trane systems as we gear up for fall here in Arizona! 🌵 Whether you’re thinking about upgrading your system or just want to make sure your home is ready for the cooler months ahead, our local team is ready to take care of you.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who ran toward danger, and recognize the families whose lives were forever changed.
25 years later, we will never forget the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on that day. 🇺🇸
From all of us at Local Roots AC & Plumbing, we remember and honor them.

😂🎉 HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY, JOHN! 🎉😂
John officially hit the big 6-0, which means he’s now old enough to know better… but we’re pretty sure he’s going to do it anyway. 😂
His recipe for longevity appears to be motorcycles, fishing, golfing, sinkers, Coke Zero, taffy, black licorice, and Dorito tacos, So basically everything your doctor recommends. 🏍️🎣⛳️🌮🥤
At 60, the golf balls might not fly as far, getting off the motorcycle might make a few more noises, and “going fishing” might include a nap… but the man is still going strong. 😂
Help us wish John a HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY! Here’s to another 60 years of questionable snacks, good stories, and refusing to act your age. 🍻
Happy Birthday from your Local Roots family! 💚🌵

🌱 WELCOME TO THE ROOTS, COREY! 🛠️💚
We’re excited to welcome Corey, the newest member of our Local Roots install team!
Corey’s already bringing a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn... which is exactly what we’re about around here. 💪
Now comes the important part: learning how to install an AC in a 140° Arizona attic without questioning every life decision that led you there. 😂☀️
Glad to have you on the team, Corey! We’re excited to watch you grow and see what you accomplish. 🌱
Good people build brighter communities.
Local Roots run deep. 💚
When the job requires two professionals… and a little emotional support. 😂🤝
Chris and Paul proving that at Local Roots, we don’t just have each other’s backs… apparently we hold hands through the tough ones too. 💚🤣
And hey, when you work around electricity all day, it never hurts to make sure your buddy is properly grounded. ⚡️😂
No technicians were emotionally OR electrically ungrounded during the making of this video.

🥊🌵 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DARREN! 🌵🥊
When Darren isn’t knocking out installs, he’s probably watching someone else get knocked out. 😂
Today, the only fight on the schedule is Darren vs. Birthday Cake... and we’ve got Darren winning by first-round TKO. 🎂👊
Thanks for bringing the hard work, great attitude, and championship-level effort to the Local Roots crew. Hope your birthday hits harder than an Arizona summer! ☀️🔥

🌊 Just leak testing the ductwork with water. Very thorough.
In case you were wondering: no, your attic is not supposed to have a river running through it. 😂
When enough water gets into an attic, it can find some surprisingly creative ways to travel... Including along ductwork, through insulation, and eventually into the ceilings and rooms below.
And while this may look like an extremely aggressive HVAC leak test, it’s actually a good example of why water damage needs to be addressed quickly. The water you see is only part of the problem. Moisture can make its way into insulation, drywall, framing, and other materials long before everything looks dry again.
So if you hear running water upstairs and you don’t have a second-floor bathroom…
You may want to investigate. 😅
And if your attic has officially become waterfront property, Local Roots can help.
