Discover the magic of clay as you learn hand building skills to sculpt your own spellbinding wizard!

Participants will use clay slabs to create the wizard, and embellish with wands, staffs, cauldrons, or whatever accessories you wish for! Class is best suited for ages 5+. Fun for the whole family! Parents are welcome to drop off or to stay with their child and enjoy the class together. If parents would like to create their own project, please register for a seat as well.

All materials and firing fees included. Projects will be ready to pick up in 2-3 weeks.

Wizards will be kiln fired, and participants will return in approximately two weeks to customize with glazes for an enchanting final project!

Our seventh annual summer camp program kids off NEXT WEEK! Little artists 5-10 can join certified art teacher, Miss Laurie, for weeklong camps making memories and masterpieces this summer.

Participants will get to explore a variety of art mediums including clay, sculpture, painting, drawing, and more depending on our weekly themes.

Our camp is taught be certified teachers with years of classroom experience working with diverse groups of learners. We provide a warm, welcoming environment for children to bring their ideas to life while practicing creative problem solving and critical thinking skills.

How do you 602? 🤔

Join us for the third annual 602 Day to celebrate all things PHX! Stay cool in the studio on Tuesday, June 2 as you get creative and paint your own ceramic cactus. This is an open house style event, so you can drop in anytime between 1pm and 7pm. Give yourself approximately an hour to complete your projects, so no seating after 7 pm.

This event is fun for all ages, so bring the whole family! Price is per participant and includes one small ceramic cactus and all glazes and firing fees. If you’d like to select the large cactus, please make a note of how many during check out and you can pay the additional $10 upon arrival.

Ceramic cactuses will need to be kiln fired and picked up approximately 2-3 weeks after the event.

Create your own bird house that everyone will be "raven" about! No clay experience required for this hand building class. Participants will be given a wheel thrown stoneware sphere to transform into a one-of-a-kind bird house or feeder. Learn how to personalize your bird house using carving tools and additive sculpture techniques to achieve the design you want. Add a hanging handle and bird perch or choose to use a wooden dowel or stick for your tweet little friends to land on. Carve more clay away for an open design and use as a bird feeder instead. Let your imagination fly free!

This whimsical handmade bird house is wheel thrown stoneware clay, which is durable enough to withstand outdoor use in your garden or porch, or this could be a lovely addition inside your home as a piece of artwork.

Bird houses will be kiln fired, and participants will return to paint with glazes in 2-3 weeks. After a second firing, they will be ready to pick up and provide a "tweet retreat" for your feathered friends!
