We know that you may be stressed during this time of self distancing, but there are many things to be thankful for. Change your “Have to’s” to “Get to’s”! You don’t HAVE to work from home... you GET to help decrease the spread of this disease. You don’t HAVE to workout at home with no weights... you GET to be creative and change your focus to learn some new skills. Try to find the positives in your situation, because there are a lot of people out there who are worse off than you.

We are all trying to be smart about how we navigate Covid-19. We clean and sanitize after every client, as well as talk about good hand washing hygiene, but want to respect people’s fears and concerns during this time. As of right now, we will continue business as usual, and we will keep everyone posted of any changes. We want to make sure everyone knows that it’s okay to cancel a session if you’re not feeling well, or if you have people in your life that you need to limit their possible exposure.
Please Check in on those small business owners during this time! And don’t hoard supplies... be respectful... and wash your hands!

You deserve a trainer who:
•Listens to you!
Your workouts should be tailored to your individual goals, current fitness level, and be accommodating to any limitations you have.

•Is a good teacher!
Your trainer should be able to explain things clearly, and be patient and kind with corrections. Your trainer should demonstrate correct form and make appropriate adjustments and verbal cues as you complete the exercise to keep you safe. They should explain what you are working and why.

•Tracks your progress!
You should be working towards a goal and measuring your progress at regular intervals while working with a trainer. If you don’t know where you started and you aren’t tracking your progress, how will you know if your successful? This can be measuring body fat, tracking increases in strength, taking circumference measurements, or taking progress pictures.

•Is fun to be around!
If you’re going schedule time with someone 3x’s a week, make sure it’s someone you enjoy being around! This should go without saying, but finding a trainer that makes you comfortable and not dreading spending that time with them can go a long way in your adherence and success.

The beautiful Morgan has done so amazing these last 8 weeks! She lost 8lbs of fat, and gained 3lbs of muscle for a scale difference of “only” 5lbs... but look at this side by side!! This is why we focus on measuring bodyfat, circumference measurements, and progress pictures, because sometimes the scale doesn’t show as much progress as you think it should! Morgan also increased her strength (first non-modified pushups on the floor, baby!!), increased her cardio endurance, and revamped her diet to achieve these results. Could not have been more of a joy to work with. Great job, !
