Green week is coming!
For any of you haven't been doing much with your pool over the winter months all the vegetation that's blown in to your pool over the last 6 weeks with the wind storms we've had might be in for a surprise. All of those factors along with low chlorine will lead to an explosion of algae. None of My Pool Man , LLC customer's will be having that problem.
With the cool weather coming gaskets and o rings that got heated and crispy during the summer heat are starting to shrink and we are seeing leaks in pipes. This happens every year and we will keep an eye on your equipment and address any issues as we see them.
How to remove and replace your basket on a pentaire pump. Make sure the pump is off then follow these steps and clean the basket while it's out
We're starting to have dust/monsoon storms. That means all our pools are full of leaves and dirt. Since we only service the pools once a week it's important to go out and empty your skimmer baskets, net your pools and run the pump for 4 to 6 hours longer than usual. This will keep your pool from turning green especially in this heat that we're having. We'll finish up the clean up and make sure your chems are in balance when we get there
We are in the peak of the season. The sun can destroy your chlorine in a matter of days. Chem checks are important and filter run time is extremely important. You may need to add run time to your filter
Reminder that if the temps get down near freezing some pumps are pre programed to come on automatically
