Students in AZ have a list of required reading and Edgar Allan Poe is one. We bring the stories and poems to life with classically trained, professional actors.
Treating the material as confessions, we set the stories in Poe's Maison de Santé, from the story "The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether. "
You can request us all school year long.

Peter Pan, as a book, was published in 1911. The Author, JM Barrie, had never been outside the United Kingdom yet wrote about Native people. He used words and phrases that are today considered racial slurs and racial stereotypes so the story has been banned for this reason.

We use the words written in 1911 to show how language and people change and learn while highlighting other words from 1911 we don't use anymore and words used for the first time. Like Icre Cream Cone!
