A day in San Francisco! I recently had the chance to spend some time exploring the city and thought it would be fun to put together a short series of snapshots from a day spent wandering around on foot. Coffee stops, oyster bars, waterfront views, and all the character you catch along the way.

What are some of your favorite SF spots I should check out next time?

Nothing like taking in the spring weather in Papago Park with a quick hike up Hole-in-the-Rock. Always a great spot to catch a sunset☀️

The vibrant streetscape of Downtown Tempe, Arizona!

The creative direction was to anchor on the historic Tempe Flour Mill, a landmark tied to the city’s founding, and show how recent improvements along Mill Avenue complement that history within a modern, walkable streetscape. Some of those updates include new sidewalk brick, public artwork, and (my favorite) more trees!

Timing and patience were key on this one. It was a complex creative challenge and a fun one to plan through, with the goal of capturing multiple transportation modes in a single frame. We wanted to include people walking, biking, and the streetcar, while still keeping the image clean, polished, and readable as a beauty shot that showed the flow of movement through the space.

The end result was a lively image that clearly shows how the space is used and experienced. It has since been used across print and digital media, including economic development presentations and as a hero image in tourism guides and brochures. Really proud of how this one came together!

This was a fun one to shoot! The goal was to capture the laid-back vibe and good times of Board & Bottle night at Postino, for a local tourism feature with . It also happens to be one of my go-to spots for a glass of wine... so if you see me there, say hey!

Photographing a real breakfast scene means you have to nail the shot quick because the bacon won’t last long!

The concept for this series was two best friends on a spontaneous weekend beach escape. After a quick scout around the property, we landed on this stretch of coconut tree-lined sand, with playful wooden chairs, bright sunlight, and a sea breeze that added some natural movement to the scene. We styled it with trendy sundresses, matching beach bags, and a few fun accessories. I loved how the colors in the final frames really popped. It felt like a vacation anyone could step into!

Step outside your beach villa and right onto the sand in the quiet stretch of Placencia, Belize🌴 The goal with this series was to convey a sense of calm and relaxation through simple, relatable scenes. The model was a natural fit for the relaxed tone I was going for, and the expansive, thoughtfully designed grounds at Turtle Inn gave us a beautiful backdrop to work with. My favorite are the coconut trees (which I kept calling palm trees until someone finally corrected me a few days in, haha). What’s your favorite kind of getaway?
