Our schools should be a place of learning, wonder, discovery, friendship, laughter and so much more. As designers, we aim to create inspiring spaces that foster positive environments for children to engage. Safety should be a given. How is it even a debate to simply keep them safe?

Engrained at ASU’s Memorial Union was our first project out in the world as Canary. 14 years later it’s still standing serving educational food around sustainability and we are still honored to have had that opportunity. We’ll be reflecting on where we’ve been this coming week leading up to something big. Stay tuned!

This week we had the opportunity to see our work with at Manzanita Square in San Francisco. As one travels throughout the building, each floor portrays an abstracted interpretation of the seven hills of San Francisco. The graphics, color and materiality add unique character while contributing to an overall story connected to sense of place.

Hello peeps! It’s been awhile since we’ve been present and admittedly a bit of a shadow over the last couple months 😉 …

But we’re still here! And still a group of ferociously talented people passionate about design. Stay tuned for more.
