What's The Path To The Gold Standard? There is a path to go forward to the gold standard: Issue gold bonds.

If Nevada issues the gold bond, that will be a game changer in the move towards the gold standard. However, there are some political challenges.

Remember all those stories about how Germany ran into obstacles to repatriate its gold? Rumors followed by conspiracy theories.

These are important events for many reasons. But the predicted skyrocketing price of gold is not one of them.
