VOLUNTEER AT POSSE GROUNDS PARK BIKE TRAILS EVENTS

The community is invited to join several trail maintenance events at Posse Grounds Bike Park. We will be working on all bike trails and features at the park to help get them ready for the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival happening Nov. 6-8.

Volunteers will help by removing rocks and debris, adding topsoil to existing features, trimming vegetation and removing weeds, shaping features, clearing drainages, removing ruts, and general beautification of the Bike Park. No prior trail building experience is needed.

Event Options – Two sessions each day:
Wednesday, Oct. 7: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 14: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 21: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 28: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 4 p.m.

There will be volunteer tasks available from moderate to difficult. Tools will be provided.

Meet in the Pump Track area at the start of the session. Volunteers will need to sign a waiver, get a safety briefing and get task assignments.

Although not required, you can bring your bike to test ride the trails as a form of quality control.

Volunteers must bring their own gloves, eye protection, helmet (riders), closed toe shoes and water and snacks.

El Tour de Tucson Training Ride #8 SATURDAY 09/26/2026

Our eighth official training ride for El Tour de Tucson will meet this
SATURDAY, September 26th. We will meet at 6:15 AM near the Crackers & Co Cafe at 1325 N Greenfield Rd in Mesa (park to the right of the entry driveway). We will be wheels down at 6:30 AM and will NOT wait for late-comers. Time on the course for century riders will be approximately 4 hours, 3 hours for the 62 milers and 2 hours for the 32 milers. This route offers sustained hill climbing and steeper hills.

Stay after the ride and enjoy breakfast with your teammates!

**All rides are weather permitting**

REQUIRED: before participating in this or any of our upcoming group rides, each rider is required to have a current waiver on file. Please click on the link below to view the waiver, sign your agreement and return it to me by email prior to joining a group ride.
