Mother’s Day is a reminder of how blessed I am.
I was fortunate to grow up with a mom who showed me what it means to love, nurture, and lead with grace. She taught me how to be the kind of mother I strive to be every day.

Now I’m surrounded by an incredible circle of moms. Women I admire, learn from and lean on for support. And somehow, I’m a mom of two myself! At 31, I never imagined I’d be here, but I wouldn’t change a single thing. My days are full of giggles, toys, tiny messes, and so much love.

To all the amazing moms out there, whether you’re new to motherhood, seasoned, or somewhere in between. I hope you feel loved, appreciated, and celebrated today.

Give me my weekend!! 🎉😆
I know I don’t have a 8-5 because I’m a SAHM but the weekend is still exciting. The weekend for me means the boys get their time, and I get mine. 🧖🏽‍♀️ Even if we stay at home and do nothing, I’m still excited for that time. Taking care of Kai during the week doesn’t leave me with much relaxing time or really any time. Especially since he’s a runner now. Yay. 🙃 (y’all he never stops) So I use the weekends as my moment to refresh and catch up. Hopefully this weekend I can sleep in past 8. 🥲

I found this post earlier and it just spoke to me. Life has been a big waiting game lately and let me tell you, I feel crazy. Seriously. It has been hard feeling like something will change when it feels like nothing is happening. I’ve learned that during those times, I still need to be praying. It’s almost like a season change, you may not feel or see it but you know that the season is changing. The hardest part is being patient and believing.

I know I’m late but life happens. Being a boy mom is something different. 🙃 I know Kai’s only 1 but he’s a handful. Some say that daughters are hard but I don't know if I can agree. Kai is a ball of energy, high-pitched screams, and personality. If it's too quiet, you know something is wrong. Which means I'm always watching him just in case. 😒 I love this little boy so much no matter what. I could be exhausted and overstimulated but I’m still going to try to make my little boy smile.

Reels vs Pictures 📸
Instagram has become almost completely reels at this point. It’s a good and a bad thing to some. They really want you to make video content. It’s great because really pushes your creativity to create content to fit in such a small time. On the other hand, it can be difficult if you want to stay mainly pictures. I’ve been learning about reels but I still feel out of the loop. 😅 I’m trying to find a balance. It will get better, I promise. Just let me work out the kinks.

So baby and I got to spend a week with my mom. 😆 It was so fun to see my mom and Kai bond. They are such goofballs together. Between watching her chase him or get him out of whatever he was messing with, I was never short of laughs. Every day was spent making sure that Kai had a blast. We went to the park, the splash pad, and the children’s museum. My poor mom needed a long break after this baby whirlwind. 😵‍💫

Stay at home mom = lazy fits 👌🏽
Ever since I became a stay at home mom, my outfits have been lacking. 😩 It’s either things don’t fit or I don’t have any reason to dress up. Dressing cute with a baby can sometimes be a task. I have to plan out whether or not I want something to get dirty. Trust me, it’s somehow going to get dirty. Other times I just want to be comfortable, which isn’t always cute. I’m trying to style myself a little bit better, even if it’s just to the store. Will I stop wearing leggings, oversized tees, and messy buns? Probably not. 😅
