And the college road trip continues! Delaware > Norfolk…next stop: Wilmington, NC. Tolls: ~$18. Tunnels: 2. Bridges: too many to count. Lost credit cards: 1. *sigh* At least we get to stay with bestie tonight and tomorrow night!

18 years ago today this beautiful kid came into my life, and I have been forever changed. I can’t wait to see what the rest of his future holds!

Last night, I taught the boys how to make their Aunt D’s lasagna, and they killed it! It was delicious! If they can make this, they can feed themselves for a week (or them and their friends for a day or two 🤣). Next up: chicken pot pie from scratch.

Probably the one and only time the boys will do a college tour together. They’re growing up way too fast. 🥺

About Me
A lifelong history lover, I used to play “Laura Ingalls Wilder” in my backyard as a girl, making corn cakes and other “pioneer” food in my sandbox. I fell in love with the Regency when my grandmother introduced me to Johanna Lindsey at age fourteen (Thank you, Grandma!).
Fast-forward twenty-five years: after working as a technical writer and trainer, I decided it was time to write the Regency historicals I love, rather than simply read them.
When not writing, I enjoy reading, playing games that make my mind work, and spending time with my family. I have an unhealthy addiction to office supply stores and call the desert southwest home where I live with my husband, children, and mini-Schnauzer Chewie.
