𑁍 after 6 years in az i’ve officially received my first ticket - yay!
𑁍 got to see one of my fav bands with my man
𑁍 new classes at new studios & making new friends
𑁍 met lil sagey & gave .marie the biggest hug. i am such a boy aunt and not mad a bit

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the retreat year for .renewal.wellness like truly.

It takes a special person to commit to the collective and drop in. We’ve said time and time again the group makes the retreat, and the experience. 🫂

Although we were reminded time + time again it takes a certain skill, a certain leadership to create a container where people feel comfortable enough doing just that.

I’m so proud of our repeaters, welcoming new Rooted folks like they’ve known them for years. 😭 I’m so EXCITED for our new friends, and the fact that we get to cheer them on from afar + keep up with life outside of retreats.

This has been the most rewarding experience I’ve ever been apart of in my life. I can’t believe how lucky I am.
marie seeing you show up how you did this past weekend literally brings me to tears. You’re going to be such an amazing mother and he’s just so lucky. Thank you for showing up with me, every single time. 🫶

& I can’t quit thinking about what you said during our closing ceremony. This is the world your son is growing up in and this is the community we’re bringing to him. Thank you for being a quiet force during the weekend.

I feel a sense of relief after these retreats. Knowing there’s people out there doing the work and bringing intention in their lives, to share with others. Just wow.

I could go on, I’ve said so much already. 🥲😆

I’m taking a pause after the pause, and enjoying sometime away.

I find it extremely difficult to have much to post about currently. If I’m being honest I keep thinking about how I grew up.

I grew up in a household that welcomed everyone. I went to one of the most diverse schools in my city. I learned quickly & at a young age how cool it is to know people who are different from you. 🌎

I never once questioned someone because of the color of this skin, their beliefs, and how they navigate the world. We have so much to learn from one another, yet we’re all so similar.

Idk. I feel it, & you feel it. I hope you’re taking care of yourself while letting others know you’re a safe space.

There is always room for you here, with me. 💛

Tomorrow we leave to host our 9th retreat in Marble Falls, TX. Our NINTH retreat. .renewal.wellness

This couldn’t have come at a better time for us. A place to pause, reflect, and feel safe. A weekend to pause to come back stronger. ✨

Plus .az will be fueling our love for caffeine and will be set up to serve. You already know we’ll be needing a cute treat to sip during yoga. ☕️

Sunday got me thinking about all the places, spaces, + people I get to connect with on the daily due to my dedication to this practice. 🔐

Honoring its inevitable evolution, as the seasons of my life change. 🍂

I knew the line I was crossing when I took this from just a passion to how I make a living. I made a promise to myself I wouldn’t loose the one thing that’s gotten me to where I am today. ♾️

A constant reminder I have to show up for myself + find the time because I’m reminded by you all weekly when you show up to my classes that, you also found the time. 🤎

Join myself and for INTENTIONAL BEGINNINGS. This workshop is designed to help you enter the new year with clarity, warmth, and a deeper connection to yourself. 🔥

No need to put pressure on 2026. No need to stress about resolutions. We just ask that you show up fully for yourself and the collective.

We’re going to start with a Cacao ceremony, a heart-opening ritual invites you to reflect on all that has shaped you, cultivate gratitude, and create space for the intentions you wish to carry into 2026. 🤎

From there? It’s yin yoga time baby. With mindful movement and breath, you’ll soften the body, release what feels heavy, and open to what’s ready to emerge in this new season of your life.

We hosted this last month and it was amazing. We can’t thank you all for allowing us to hold this space for you!

I checked to see the last time I made a post and it was a week ago. Old April would be stressing but TBH I’m over social media 90% of the time. 😜

So at least I’m following and engaging with the coolest people here cause that’s what keeps me here!

Busy, busy, rest, work, play, busy. That’s how life has felt since getting back from Costa Rica and heading into Thanksgiving week. 🤎

BUT it’s my first official week back doing all the things and teaching at all the places so come see me!

AND .renewal.wellness DROPPED OUR 2026 RETREAT LINEUP. I am so excited and the energy for next year is PALPABLE. 🌟

We’ve already started to get deposits so if you’re on the email and you’re looking at a room… I’d suggest booking it.

I can’t believe we’re headed to Texas at the end of January with Rooted too. I just love this family and community we keep building. 🥲
